I was thinking about exactly that. Ball and chain. The 4 by would knock the daylights outta the cow's legs.

d bend back the tag end and spend the money on another staple in between the other two.

that's sort of kind of what I did. I did some tight wraps. to prevent them from unwinding under tension I stapled that lead off so even if that one staple were loosem, it can not unwind, but to add another level of excessive over caution I bent it back and stapled it again.

I'm sort of pretty sure that the wire will break before this comes part.
Maybe I'll do a test just to see.

Depends on how frisky the bulls are.

It'll be Tomatoes, artichokes, pole beans and such. I doubt they will be charging the fence.
