Branson 5520HC
Greetings everyone. I'm a first-time tractor owner and purchased a 2022 5520CH with 260 hours last month.

After about 10 hours of use this past week, I can no longer change my range. The shifter is stuck in range B and will not come out of gear. I don't see anything obstructing levers under the cab. They are clear and clean.

My Google Foo is coming up empty. This forum seemed to have a decent Branson community.

Is there a trick I'm missing, or is this my first drive-train warranty incident?

If your forward/reverse pedals are not centering good they could be putting a bind on things.
Have you tried to shift ranges with the tractor off?

That tractor has the 4 range transmission with the H pattern shifter. I believe it's a somewhat common occurrence for the shift lever to pop out of the H linkage and get jammed in there when people tend to put a bit too much force on those range levers.

You may want to peak in there and see if that's the issue.

EDIT: Make sure you put the "f" in "shift" or the forum may not like it. 🤣

Thanks for the tips! I'll be checking this out later today.

Sounds like it may have popped out. I've tried with the tractor off, idling and lightly touching the pedals.

Happens to my 3620 occasionally. I tend to lean sideways on the shift lever as I change gear ranges just as I do when driving a manual shift car.
Here is the possible solution I posted:

Thanks for posting this! This is the exact thread I was looking for to share here with the OP.

I don't know if it's me or not, but never had good luck with the forum search tool.
