Branson 3725CH PTO Problem

Well it has been a while and just got PTO fixed. It was a very frustrating process but it is now fixed. The problem was a wire shorting out under the cab. It was a wire that you really couldn’t see because it ran with some hydraulic lines/hoses but was trapped under them and on the head of a bolt. It took the mechanic 2 1/2 days tracing every wire before finding it. That’s what Branson finally told them to do.
One of the problems was it would stop working/blow fuse for me but after loading and unloading at dealer it would work fine.

Wow, it has been a while. I am glad they found the problem! Hopefully that is the only issue you will ever see and will have many years of excellent service.

Did you just wait some time before taking it in or has it been at the dealer this long?

It has been back and forth to the dealer. I used it through the winter for plowing snow since I didn’t need the PTO. But it has been back and forth numerous times and couple of weeks each time because it takes forever to get parts up here. Hopefully it’s all good to go now.

Wow, what an ordeal. I'm glad you got it fixed. I'll have to remember that wire if I ever have a similar problem.

Intermittent problems like this short can be a real pain. I am glad they were able to fix it.
