Price Check Brand New 1025R

   / Brand New 1025R #11
I am not sure what the second poster is talking about by stating it should have a bunch of attachments....the price your received is fair...not a steal, not a ripoff. So if your dealer is good, and you like the John Deer, pull the trigger and enjoy!

Re-read the first post -- the OP did not tell us it was a TLB package, or what front loader (H120? D120?), if any -- just that he was quoted $19,900 for a 1025R. At $19,900 it better include some implements: loader, backhoe, etc..., and should be the better H120 loader at that price.

Yeah sorry about not being specific I did correct that but you were too fast for me s219
id not know there were different loaders just assumed straight from the factory was one set up

Had I ever heard back from the Kubota dealer maybe I could have had more negotiating power but it took 2 visits and 2 emails re requesting a quote to get one response. I instantly replied and nada. Not one to force someone to take my money so their loss. I'll take the 16 or so % below MSRP and be happy And my awesome wife is so relieved to not hear how a new tractor would solve every problem for these last 4 weeks.

Thanks for posting the specifics of your sale. Maybe someone got a better price, but my thought was that if I could get the Deere for 19,900 I'd go for it as well. The list prices are very high and without "knowledge" such as what you provided I wouldn't have know where to start. When I first talked to the Deere guys I was quoted $21,800. Way more that the Kubota BX23S which was 19,500. I didn't even try to get the Kubota guy down. I had a similar experience, it seemed they weren't all that interested in negotiating. So the 1025 for a few hundred more makes me very happy:) I really wanted the Deere because it seems, on paper anyway, to have a bit more lift capacity, I like the separate pedals for forward an reverse, and then there is, I hate to admit it, the "cool" factor. I just think it's a nice looking tractor. Now just waiting to see if I get the financing. If I had cash in hand, I'd have gone for the LS MT125 at 15,500, how could you go wrong! But a Deere will definitely put a smile on my face, and save what's left of my back!

You'll be very happy with your choice, John Deere makes very good tractors.

Thanks Kubota 2350! Well, it's official, something I thought I'd never own will soon be on my property. I really never understood why a homeowner with 1/2 an acre would need a tractor, but after a summer rental and a ton of projects ahead I started to see that it would pay for itself in short order. I wanted a Deere but the list prices scared me off. Thanks again to this website, and this thread in particular the 1025R TLB is on it's way! I would also be negligent if I didn't mention the support of my wife. She doesn't want me to break my back with all the projects we have planned. She's not so excited about the tractor, but about me staying healthy and about getting some work done around here. I'll start another thread when it arrives. Thanks again.

My dealear has them 2018 JD1025R TLB also listed for $19,900 but when aksed he said $18,500 but they did have them listed online last month for $17,500. I have not asked about any of the other national discount programs that you can uses to get more off those prices.

Watch out with your right foot. It's very easy to hit the fuel shutoff valve with your foot.

Glad you are seeing the light. I have .48 acres and use a 2720 and a X500. I mow with the X500 but do everything else with the 2720. With the bucket, pallet forks and lifting chains and straps I don't lift anything manually anymore. The bulk of the tractor usage is driveway maintenance and winter snow removal.
