So I went shopping around mainly between the 1025R and BX23S and BX25D
GC1720 was just not comfortable to me

After a few go rounds best offer got was $19,900 for the 1025R from the closest dealer which was also the most helpful
In Cali so the sales tax bites but does this seem like a pretty good deal? After their initial offer I let them know all the offers I received and they beat em all

Really hope the 1025R is the right choice Playing the odds a JD will last

Price seems high unless a bunch of implements are included.

Sounds like the Dealer gave you a good deal on the 1025R TLB package, enjoy your new unit.

I would consider that a very good price. I'm guessing a 1025R with MMM is $14K??

The Dealership's reputation is a factor in their favour too.

Tractors are a long term investment.

No MMM Just the tractor backhoe loader
Partly ended up going with the dealer... he was the most responsive Kubota after 2 visits and 3 emails only responded once
Looks like it gets here in 2 weeks OH BOY

I bought the identical unit for 18,900 in the Kubota Version...BX23s. The are both great tractors....but please do not discount how stinking handy the SSQA (Skid Steer Quick Attach) is for the front end loader things. I can go from bucket, to grapple, to forks in a matter of minutes. My big Kubota has the Euro Sytle (Johnd Deere) and I despise it...

I am not sure what the second poster is talking about by stating it should have a bunch of attachments....the price your received is fair...not a steal, not a ripoff. So if your dealer is good, and you like the John Deer, pull the trigger and enjoy!

The second poster, s219, didn't know that it was a TLB... that wee detail came up in the third post. :)

Personally I enjoy having/using the JDQA. Timing to swap FEL implements is the same without having to be concerned with the SSQA's mechanical handles (something to potentially go wrong) plus there's the added weight of the implement plate = reduced lifting amount.

To each their own, eh?
