Box Blade ?

I've been looking for a box blade and not quite sure on what width to get. The rear tires on my R3039 (38 hp) are 68" wide. I like the box blade that Everything Attachments carries (United) as it seems like a good blade for the money. Would a 72" blade be too much for my tractor? The next smaller one is 66" wide but is out of stock at this time. Thoughts or suggestions.

72" is fine for your tractor. Just keep in mind, the heavier it is, the better it will work.

Thanks for the input Mtn. I think the United should do the trick. Mostly need it to smooth some skidder ruts and knock down some ant hills. I saw your reference to the Bobcat blade in another thread and it sure is nice but probably pricey.

Another avenue that you may want to look at. Around Houston, Texas and Litte Rock, Ark the local Craigslist usually has used box blades every week for half what new ones cost.
I have seen Gannon box blades listed with hydraulic retractable scarifiers selling for $500-600 and those are the top of the line in dirt equipment.

Check your local listing and you may find what you are needing for hundreds less.

How about everything attachments, their stuff look HD ?

When I get one I will buy from them, there are vids that anyone can watch and from what I can see.weight of the implement their pricing isn’t bad.

Heavy is the operative word here. Make sure its Heavy.
Those single blade (not boxed) units are not as functional.
