Box Blade Tips

Look at the ETA videos, then plan on wrecking some ground & burning some diesel converting learned data into usable wisdom. The nice thing about the box blade is you have the tool to fix your mistakes already hitched up, once you get it figured out.

My biggest recomendation is go slow so you can adjust the impliment before it starts cutting in ways you dont want.

Lift arms on my B26. Grade work requires adjustment and the OEM turnbuckles are weak and pita.

One of the most important tips I can give you is to not turn tightly when the knives are in the ground. You will twist the whole box up into a parallelogram before you know it. Run it slow and flat for a while until you know you won't catch small stumps or roots that can grab it and stop you quickly.

Great tip guy .Am also looking to by a box scraper I see every one using a 5 foot wide.. Is a 6 foot to big for a B2650 or not .If you get a 6 ft that is the same wait as a 5 foot is the 6 ft still too much for a b2650

Thanks for the tip - I hadn't even considered about twisting the box!

Videos are great, especially the one about connecting up to the 3PL.

Well time to hit the yard and get some work done...............

Get a hydraulic top link if possible. Go about 4" longer than is recommended for your tractor if you have a set of Pat's on. I didn't and can't quite get it as long as I'd like.
