I am getting ready to purchase a box blade for my B7610. Any recommendations on width? The manual calls out a 54", however most implement manufacturers offer either a 48" or a 60". Seems the 54" width is an odd size. Is a 60" box blade too big for the B7610?

I have a 60" box blade on my B7610. I primarily use it to keep my whiterock drive leveled. I'm speaking with limited experience as I've only had a compact tractor less than 1 year but I think it depends upon what you're using it for and how deep you set the scarifiers. I'm planning on adding a set of guage wheels as if I'm not careful it's easy to drop the blade too deep and really drag down the tractor. I was losing c clips on my 3 point until I figured out that I was just overloading the 3 point with too much of a load in the box scraper. Raised it up along with the scarifiers and to date no more trouble keeping the clips on. Bottom line is that I think it's all in what material you're working with and how you use the scraper.

I agree with Hagman. I have a 60" box blade on my 7610. I can bog it down pretty good if I try to use it too aggressively but by taking smaller bites, the 7610 can handle the 60" very well.
