Bought Spike Tooth Harrow . . .

I picked one up primarily to cut up, and spread all the horse manure in my pastures. I finally got around to using it this morning and it worked well to do just that as well as detatch and "turn over" the dead grass. The 45 of course doesn't even know its back there even with the teeth set on the most aggressive setting. Now we just need some rain!!!

Can you post a more upclose pic(s) of the hitch portion? Mainly the top where the chain hooks. Also, what size chain did you use? I've got a four bar 8' piece that I haven't made a 3pt hitch for yet.

I can take some pictures in the next day or so. I don't know what size chain it is sine came with the unit. But it looks like your typically semi heavy duty Home Depot chain.

I made a poor mans version a long time ago and you will love that one

The chain is 1/4" and where it goes through the plate at the top is a 5/16" x 1" slot. You put the link through and then use a 1/4" linchpin to keep the chain in place. Sorry, I don't have a close up of the hitch either.
