bobcat zt226 deck height ?

I just picked up a used Bobcat ZT226 72". I'm having a problem lifting the deck to full 4.5" height. The handle does come up to the top but if you measure the blades they are around 3" how do I adjust this? I did read up on deck leveling but I want to make sure I have the proper height adjustment first.

For anyone who has had the same problem, I have found out what was wrong with my ZT. I had a bent lift arm, That's the handle that you lift up and down to either raise or lower the deck. It looked good to the naked eye but when I called up Bob Cat tech line they instructed me on how to measure it to see if it was in spec and sure enough it was out by over an inch. I had ordered one online but it is on back order and my grass is growing...so I cut mine apart and put it back into spec and re welded it. It works great now and I have full range of lift, from 2.5" up to 4.5". I hope that this can help out someone in the future.
