Boat Lift Plans

Hi!! I am new to this forum and am not sure if this is a proper post. I have a 20 ft boat in a private lake and want to construct a flotation style lift for the boat. The boat and motor weigh approximently 1500#. If any one on this forum has plans or has built one similar. Please respond. Thanks

I've seen some. Best best would be to visit someone that has one. They don't look that complicated. The ones I've seen utilize an air pump to add/remove water in pontoons. All the air in--it floats. Air out, it sinks and the boat floats. It would require a framework with some hinges that allow it to pivot.

Might be some online sources to look at too.
