Looking for any ideas on how to mulch blueberries faster and easier. I know they have mulching machines but they are very pricey. Any ideas on how to customize something to do a similar job. I was looking at an old forage wagon that could be modified but it is too big and wide to maneuver around the rows. I also have an old gravity wagon but it doesn't spread/shoot the mulch out enough. It just drops a line along the row. Is there a way to put a pto driven conveyor belt like the forage wagons have on to a gravity wagon?

You could take a a set of feeder house chains and sprockets off an old combine on a frame under the gravity wagons chute and put on a hydraulic motor or pto drive and sling the crap out your mulch. I built a similar thing from them. If it was a longer feed house you could mound it in the center using the hydraulic moter mulch to either side.

Might I inquire as to what you are mulching your blueberrys with??

Yeah- I wonder too. there is a blueberry feild down the road from my folks house where I grew up and they never mulched. They have over 80 acres with at least 10-20 acres full of blueberries and rest for other crops. They always havee th biggest berries and we pick there every year.
