One good thing abut the LARGEST SNOW FALL, COLDEST TEMPS......you don't hear a peep from the GLO-BULL warming nut cases.
Looks like the scientists were smarter in the 70's when the SWORE we were going to have GLO-BULL, cooling.

Funny thin is, when we got a 36" overnight snow storm here in north idaho a few years back.... Didnt make any papers. We just got to moving it snd got back to work. Most roads opened within 24 hours, this years winter here sucks. 4 plow days

Have any of you guys with back blades have any problems with damaging asphalt moving snow? I use a FEL on my drive but my neighbor's drive is longer and I would like to use the back blade but don't want to damage his asphalt portion.

From reading a lot about BB snow removal on this site, reversing the blade should work better. It made a world of difference for my driveway, which is 2000' give or take. I've only used my blade on one small storm last week, so I'm definitely not an expert. It will take all of the snow except maybe the last 1/2" or so, which exposes enough of the stone for decent traction.

Your results should be similar with pavement. You may get even better results if it's consistently flat.

T

Should be fine I use mine on my newly paved .5 mi drive. I did bend the blade a bit last year. Just make sure it is level so a corner doesn't dig in.

Ready on the coast in NH - meatloaf and mashed taters with gravy for dinner, 10 gallons of gas and a full genny, Kubota is full too. Two days of firewood in the house and plenty of food in the freezer.

Unless we lose pine trees due to 50MPH winds here on the coast it's just another big snow storm.
