Ouch!!!,

Wotalota that must have been painful wallet wise.

Do you have chains and loaded tires?

It sounds like you could use grader/log skidder
chains with the center ring grippers from
the folks at snow chains.com in PA.

I had have my mule picked up and sent to the Deere
dealer in Horseheads as the starter crapped out.
The starter pawl would not engage after 144 hours on the meter
and coaxing it with fluid film did not work this time GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!
**** those plastic parts. They are not busy in the shop
so hopefully I will get it back tomorrow.

I have never seen an engine starter with a steel gear on top
of a plastic shaft and spring pawl engagement method.

Official total in Boston is 21". Highest so far is 33" in Auburn, MA (central MA)

I believe the Boston # as the snow is going over my 21" bucket.

Bad luck on the timing of the starter going out on you. Yes I have the rear tires loaded and use non aggressive chains all round to not mess up the driveway. No cost for the tow except for something for the driver since it came through AAA. Body damage is minor from sliding by branches when it was dragged out. Will probably have it done and perhaps get some crumples from before I bought it fixed if it isn't too much.

Made my first run three hours ago, only 9" here in the woods. Not too bad so far here.

just over 30" here. powdery enough that I could drive through it with chains on. Some good seat time and more cleanup tomorrow

Just a snippet of clearing my 1600ft drive.....

Nice unit Shift. More than a quarter mile of snow removal would cause me to be "looking over my shoulder" for a spell cause the neck wouldn't turn the other way for a couple days.

We were robbed in SE Pa. Was expecting a foot or so and got an inch - 1 lousy inch! Oh well, at least the framing crew was able to continue working on our house. Always a bright side to everything.

This was the second worse prediction I've ever seen. A few years back we were supposed to get a monster storm and got absolutely nothing from it.
