best gooseneck hitch

Looking at a gooseneck hitch for my truck? What are the considerable things to choose the best gooseneck hitch?

I've got the B&W turn over, in both my duallies. No plate or ball in the way when you need to haul sheets of plywood, etc.

We have B&W Turnover hitches in both trucks now and have had several over the years.

I have the same. B&W turnover ball. I'm not going to say "It's the Best", as in the "best one" made, but I have been happy with mine. I also have the 5th wheel companion hitch for it, that drops into the hole when you take the ball out. 3 yrs now, no complaints.

I favor the B&W. I have a B&W in my 08 and the factory Curt in the 17. I had a B&W in my 03 I traded in on the 17. The Curt ball doesn't always want to release without WD40 and a tap from a hammer. With the Curt you have to remove the chain hooks to have a flat bed, the B&W chain hooks slid down into the bed.

I've had a few through the years.
Currently, a Colibert (CE Brand) in the '03 F-350
And, the B&W in the '16 F-250. Just for the convenience and ease of installation, I vote for the B&W. This is my second B&W. I don't plan to buy anything else again.

My dually has the B&W turnover Niall, companion fiber hitch, and a class V receiver hitch. All are very high quality and easy to use. B&Wis always my first choice.

Una goose hitch is my choice,had one in my F250 and now one in my F350. Didn't like the B&W rod setup. Both of mine were professionally installed, so don't know how easy they are to install.

I think the one in my truck is a Draw-Tite, much like te B&W turn-over ball in design and operation, a little bit cheaper price. Works fine for my limited use.

I did the install of a B+W in a brand new 2001 Chevy Dually. The hardest part was cutting a honk'n big hole in a pristine bed. The B+W has well served for 18 years with no issues. Hauling heavy trailers, keep the ball greased or the ball will get galled.

Back when I installed one in my new truck, I put the holesaw in my drill press and ran it thru a piece of sacrificial plywood. Then I have a perfect, large template. Remove the pilot bit from the holesaw and place the hole in the plywood exactly where you want the hole in the bed and stand on the plywood while you drill. You will have good control of the saw as it chatters thru the corrugations and make a perfectly round hole.

My ‘16 F-350 has the factory reese gooseneck hitch. No complaints with how it works, its just that when you are not towing and want to use the bed, you have to take the greasy ball and safety chain fittings and put them...where? Then hope you dont leave them at home when you need them or lose something. I installed a B&W in my Nissan, much easier. Done with the ball, just flip it and you got your bed back.

What do you think about curt gooseneck hitch? They seem to have a good review in the market.
