Belarus 250AS
I have a Belarus 250AS with two 6volt batteries wired in series to get 12volts.
Since one of the batteries is bad would changing to one 12volt battery be a problem?

Welcome packrat1944! Years ago i had 2 Belarus 400's They originally had 6 volt batteries. The Belarus dealer i bought the tractors from changed it to 2 12volt batteries. No problems and had a lot more cranking amps. John

I have a 250as and it has one twelve volt battery. The advantage of having 2 6 volt batteries is that the amps will add up, giving you 12,volts with i.e. (if you have 500 cold cranking amps, on each of these 6 volts batteries, you end up with 1000 cold cranking amps) good to know when you are selecting your 12 volt battery/.
