Have one and been using a 5' for 4 years with a Yanmar 1610D (16 PTO H.P.). No Problem with anything I have cut. Your speed and cut are up to you to match with what cuts best. If stuff is too tall, I take a smaller bite with each pass. The mower sticks out on one side and it's your call how much you try to cut at one time. Cut is great and sure beats a rotary for safety.
