becoming contractor for ROWs

/ becoming contractor for ROWs #11
thank you guys for advice.I did not know that was lot of BS involved in this.
best thing to do is fined some local company and try as a sub.
does any body knows any company in my area who does that kined of work and who hires subcontractors??

I beleive someone already said a good one.

You'll find out they control ROW work in Canada, US, and Mexico. From what I've seen in my area, they sub alot of the work out. They have a company that just sprays chem, one company that has 20 plus buckets trucks for tree trimming, and one company just for the tractor work.

Do what I do, I found out what color truck they drive, and give them a business card when they go on break, see them at a gas station, etc. I tell them I'm in the ROW business, things change (people retire, quit, etc) and let them know that in the future you would like a chance to work. I don't think I have a chance but you never know.:D
