Beautiful old PT418

I narrowly missed purchasing an old PT418, mint condition, which just sold for $3500. It dates back to around 1997. One of the unusual things about it was the brackets that hold the wheel motors, which gives it a wider stance than subsequent models. I'm not sure if that was a mod, or part of the original design, but I'll bet it is awesome on side-slopes.

Much different then the new PT018 (equivalent?). On the new model there is no ROPS, it has a simple lift and tilt mechanism for arms, the steering cylinder is built under the floor.
The rims look reversed like they may be able to cover those boxed extensions it turn inward.

That looks more like a 422 or 425.

That sure is in nice shape! What brand of motor is in it? I thinking it's probably a Kohler?

Yes, I think it was a Kohler.
