Anyone know what the recommended minimum horsepower would be for a 15' Bearcat cultipacker. I have attached a picture of the implement.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thats more like a cultimulcher, I am sure with the tines way down you'd want 60hp

I can stop my 33hp 4wd with tines all the way down on a 9' regular spring tooth drag

That is not a cultipacker. I agree that it is a cultimucher, and it is going to take some HP to pull that thing. If you lower the tines all the way, you might not be able to pull it with 60 hp.

hotchkiss is right 60 hp at the very least. when I was in high school we had an IH model was probably heavier than what your looking at didn,t want nothing less than 80hp to pull it with. sometimes wished we had more.
