As you may know BCS makes small two-wheel walk behind "tractors". One of the attachments is a log splitter. There is one near me for sale. I've only seen pictures and it looks pretty robust. I'm interested in buying it, but I'm concerned about the connection to the pto. Does anyone have any experience with this?

It is meant to run off of the pto of BCS tractors which I'm going to assume is different than a typical six spline tractor pto. Has anyone had any experience in modifying this or any advise at all?

Thanks, Keith Zack

I used to have some BCS equipment and they are very well built. As I recall the PTO splines are in no way similiar and I also believe the speeds don't match. It just might be more work than it is worth. You might be better of looking for a used BCS tractor to drive it.

Take a look here/

Tractor Accessories

They have listed an adapter from tractor PTO to BCS PTO. I would give them a call.

Keith,
Did you get that BCS splitter? I have a BCS and might be interested in it.
Thanks,
Bob
