Awesome.......tender, moist, juicy & flavorful. :licking:
I recover all the juices from the drip pans, refrigerate them, skim the cooled fat off and have some delicious clear juices to drizzle over the meat.

Nice Job TB. I thought I have a lot of cooking equipment, but not 3 rotisserie's !

THAT borders on a pejorative comment. Have you *actually* tried garlic with chocolate cake or apple pie? Do you have any idea at all of how many other people eat their cake and pie with garlic? No? I didn't think so. Next time please be a little more considerate of other's eating habits before you go off like that.

While I haven't had garlic chocolate cake, I have had garlic apple pie at The Stinking Rose, a San Francisco restaurant that specializes in garlic dishes. And yes, it was good! And yes, I smelled like garlic for a couple of days, but it was worth it!

I love to smoke whole garlic cloves on my smoker and on my gas grill by using a chip box. Now I'm hungry again.....

There actually is one more grill setup for rotisserie. Total of 4 :confused2: This grill is propane powered and is the backup grill. Charcoal reigns supreme here.
This grill was given to me in 2012 after a 12 year stint with it's original owners. I rehabbed it from top to bottom.

Well that made me hungry! I just had a salad only for dinner... you know... New Year's resolutions. Thanks for causing me to drool.

That makes two of us, though I added a small piece of salmon on top of my salad. Not so much a new years resolution; but after 3 weeks of holiday binging, my pants and my body are telling me it's time to drop some weight!

Actually, more like you. Not really a resolution just trying to cut back a bit! Too much good holiday food. Speaking of smokers though, I love my little Traeger!

Just read all 14 pages. Great read! I plan to get my first smoker in the spring. Looking at a Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker.

I have a Weber Smokey Mountain Smoker. For the money, it is as good as it gets. I also have a Big Green Egg, and the Weber will do as well as the BGE, but you have to tend to the water pan. Clean up for the Weber is also a pain.

Good choice, I have one, but one reason I got the large side fire box one was the lack of room on the WSM. If you do get the weber, get the 22.5 inch one instead of the 18.5. I can't even get slabs of ribs to lay flat on my 18.5 because they are to long. Another reason I chose another smoker is if your using the top and middle rack on the WSM you have to remove the top rack and food to get to the middle rack. Just gets annoying depending on what your smoking.

Well I didn't get my Weber, but I was in Home Depot for something else when I spotted this;

Brinkmann Smoke 'N Grill Charcoal Smoker and Grill-810-5302-S - The Home Depot

$90 canadian. Figured I couldn't go wrong. Found some interesting mods on youtube such as putting in a real thermometer, putting the legs on backwards for easier access to the coal pan as well as drilling air vents in the pan for more air & heat. If it works out and I use it enough to make yummy meals it'll be easier to convince momma to get a nicer one. ;)

Good luck with that. I had one; it wouldn't get hot enough. I used it once or twice and gave it to the Salvation Army. I had a similar one called the Cajun Cooker, and it was excellent.
