I had no idea that Western Auto was still round.
They have been gone for my area for 40+ years.

It is not a really big place, a lot of people would just call the place Moyers for short. That's were I get my Amsoil at.

The VAST majority of battery information out there, is always by someone selling something.

Something I was thinking about regarding mass market batteries.

There must be varying strategies as far as how long to make a battery last for a good reputation and not making it so good that it hurts sales. Surely the trend is moving to the latter. In fact, I'm sure companies would rather put their money into successful marketing campagnes than to build a better battery.

Assuming you're addressing that to me, you need to go to a Kubota site that will show you an exploded parts list. This should be the start point and you type in your model number.

It will show you the list of parts after you pick your model variation and when you enter your email will show you the exploded parts picture. Very easy.

Add your email and I might have the part. Your part is in the "bonnet" or hood category and you have to hunt and park for the right part.

I see Lowes advertises Deka batteries which is the brand my BX23 came with and still going strong.

I'd buy Kubota factory battery if they were available but apparently not. Original in my L 3130 still fires it up fine. Since fall of 2004. Never had another battery make half that lifespan.
