How loose (or tight) should the shackle chains be on a ballast box for a BX2230. I have them set with about 1" of play on each side - so 2" of movement is tolerated by the box. Is this too much? Too little? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
You should be OK unless the noise drives you crazy. My property is pretty rough so I keep my balast as well as chipper pretty tight so they don't thrash around when I am driving.
