I think you would have gotten a heck of a lot more sympathy if you had not groused about the water spots. Yes it would have been courteous to have delivered with a full tank of fuel. My tractor was delivered with a full tank of fuel. As for the magazine, you can sign up for that. And just how many hats do you have? I have about 50, half which wont fit my fat head. Everyone gives out hats. I got a New Holland hat from the NH/Kioti dealer. He didn't have any Kioti hats at the time. Later on when I got an incorrect air filter from the parts department and had to go back and exchange it I got a sincere apology and 2 nice Kioti hats. Don't sweat the small stuff, and it is all small stuff.:)

I think the OP was just having a little fun with this. :)

If you guys are going to wear a ball cap --- make it a real ball cap. St. Louis Cardinals.

Everything else is just a pretend ball cap.:)

LOL...I'm still waiting for about 3 more years when the Astros will rise again!!!

I took my beautiful 4 year old daughter into the dealership with me quite often and one day, the owner (who is very old and usually stays in the office) came out and gave her a John Deere pink "Princess" Cap. She loved it. I kept telling her how lucky she was that she was as cute as a bug in the rug.

My CK2510 and BH was delivered in a snow storm,it was a mess, full tank of diesel as he outlined in the purchase agreement. After signing some papers he gave me a couple knives, I said, no hats? I was kidding. I had to order new chains, because I live 1.5 hrs from the dealer he left them outside for me to pickup after I got off work as he would be closed. A couple weeks later my wife stopped in to pay for the chains, he handed her a hat and said, give this to your husband. He is a good dealer..

Yea, not looking for sympathy. Just wondering if my purchase was typical. In my youth when Dad bought machinery I just remember more efforts by the dealers on the little things, to make Dad happy so he'd tell all his friends. And many of you are correct in saying these are little things -- that is exactly why I am surprised the Dealer does not do them to make the customers happy at small expense to them. Thanks for the inputs........

I agree that some times the small things make you remember them. I don't really think the hat matters, but a free toy for the kid or a pocket knife for you, etc kinda makes you feel good. In the end it doesn't make any difference, but I see what your saying.

Boog, I poked a little fun, but I don't really disagree with your thoughts. What I'd prefer, however, is for someone to look me in the eye, shake my hand and say "I want you to know that we REALLY appreciate your business, and please let us know if you have any problems. We're here for you."

It aggravates me to buy something from somebody who then acts like THEY are doing ME a favor.

My Mahindra dealer gave us two hats, one for me and one for the wife. An "owners club" hat came in the mail with a thank you. Only a 1/4 tank of fuel in it but it was shiny, no water spots.

I agree the OP was having some fun with us, no tractor owner I know is so petty.
