I just bought a backhoe, it is setup with a homemade bobcat adapter, I'm going to be converting it to 3 point, is there any things that I should add or consider to make it work better?

I would suggest you might want to consider a subframe. A hoe really puts a lot of stress on the tractor. Try this post if you are interested in tackling it. Dfkrug is a friend, an engineer, and a talented fabricator - he used to sell TPH hoes but fabricated subframes for his customers. I've had two CUTS with hoes, a B21 Kubora and my LS 3038H and both come with subframes.

Of course you will need rear remotes or at least hoses to connect your hoe to the hydraulics - but you know that.

I love having a hoe - it is not something I use often but when I need to dig, that is the shovel I go for. I have replaced two septic leach fields with my little hoes saving thousands of dollars over having it done so they do pay to own.

I'd like to build a subframe, just not sure how to go about it and what it should incorpperate

If a subframe is too much look at Kubota's 3-point hitch saf-t-lok

solution and get a beefed up top link and bars from the 3 point arms to the top-link.

That saf-t-lok may help protect the operator, but ti does nothing to protect the tractor from the stresses a backhoe can put on it. Some tractors are designed to handle that, but the vast majority of today's CUTs are not.
