Tractor
Kubota B7800
Well, it's in the state anyway (AZ). Today they told me it has finally arrived from the LA dock strike. It's at the company's Mesa store, still in a crate, has to be assembled and outfitted to my specs, and I should have it within two weeks. Cannot wait!! There are many projects already lined up on the property.

Once I get a final price I will post (I don't have much choice, Bingham Equipment is the only dealer in southern AZ, but they are an excellent dealer, and that's the best half of the equation).

I went to Kubota's web site, can't find a B7800. Is this a new
model not yet officially introduced???

Not so long Thomas! Hey your delivery could get there actually before I get my machine.

Gunfighter, yes this is a new model. Check out Carver's web site for details. It's a B model, 30HP HST, but with a few less frills. The savings over the B29 will give me some nice extras for the same money. Basically the same frame/machine as the B27/B29, same engine as the B29, I think.

I almost wish snow was on the list, Frank. Rocks is more like it.

Stopped by the dealer today. They have a B7800 in stock. I was able to get a good look at it. From the side it looks just like my 2910. The seat area and 3PH are where all the differences are. I was able to take some pictures. The picture attached to this post is of the seat.

This picture is of 3PH control. This is where I saw the biggest change. 3PH position is very similar to a B7500. But works in ¼” increments. I was not able to see it in operation because the dealership became very busy at the time I was there. /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif
B7800 are in Michigan. Shouldn’t be long before they make it to NH. /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Nice pics and tractor there Ron. I'm kinda in the market for a digital camera and yours seems to take a pretty good pic. I was wondering if you'd mind telling me what it is and about what it would cost. I'm looking for a point and shooter, around 300 bucks or less.

Thanks
Billy

My camera is an Olympus D490 Zoom. This model is no longer made. It’s a 2.1 mega pixel. The current version is a 520. I have seen it for less than $200.00 on the Internet. A couple friends have bought the 520 and are just as happy as I am with the 490.

I had good luck with Bingham also. They even let me try several tractors before I bought my B7500 to see what I liked. I did not get a bargain, but I got excellent service and it continues after two years. Enjoy your B7800.

Ron and all,

My B2910 has some filler metal between the fenders...the B7800 at first looks different...and may be better as things seem like they may be more easily reached...

Here is a not so great photo, that shows the difference I am referring to...I hope!

The sheet metal and plastic inserts beside the seat make for a lot of room to run lines for rear hydraulic outlets. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
