Am I correct in assuming that getting on the tractor from the right side is pretty tough now? Can't tell for sure what the clearance is from the picture but it looks a little tight.

Not that I think that is a major issue. I try to make it a habit to get on from the left side when the tractor is running anyway, to avoid possibly slipping and releasing the brake or pushing the HST pedal.

The picture pretty much says it all. You can get in from the right side, but to do it comfortably or often, you'd need to be a contortionist.
