Oil & Fuel B7200 wont restart

I was down in the woods dragging out some logs when i ran out of diesel. First time for me so i got some fuel and added it but the engine just coughed a few times but wont start. Im pleading stupidity,,help?

If you have your owners manual it should show you how to bleed the air out of the lines , it will also tell you not to run it out of fuel for the very reason you are having now . Good luck as I have not had to do this , maybe someone will chine in with more info . .My manual just says to " fill the tank and start , run for 30 sec. and shut off ) . Not much help if it won't start .

Crack the fuel lines at the injectors and turn it over until fuel comes out of all 3 lines. I'm pretty sure that's how I did it.

There should be a bleed valve/nut on the fuel pump. Just open it and crank till fuel comes. Close and keep cranking. It should start.

Went through this procedure many times with a B7100.
