Buying Advice b7100, will a backhoe work on it?

Hi,

Not much tractor knowledge YET. I've seen a few B7100's around in my price range and am wondering if a backhoe can be put on it and if so what do I need to look for? And what can I realistically expect to dig with it? - Thanks.

You would need a frame mount for the backhoe, three points are controversial. Then you would have to buy the back hoe to fit, It would be better to buy together.

What type of work were you intending for the backhoe?

Backhoes have been used on the B7100. A new backhoe would be worth much more than the tractor. Subframes can be fabricated.

I'm not looking to dig a skyscraper foundation or anything just some trenches, pier holes and a root cellar into the side of a hill. What do you think?

I've seen some used backhoes around, is there a specific size I should not go over? I can fabricate a subframe if I see a pic of one.
