- Kubota B7100 HST - 1995
Saturday afternoon my little '95 B7100 HST rolled past the 500 hour mark. So, Saturday night I changed the oil and filter, put in new air and fuel filters, drained and refilled with new anti-freeze and gave the little bull a bath to boot (things were kinda slow out where I live). I changed the hydraulic fluid around 400 hours, so that wasn't on the party favor list.
Kind of amazing. 500 hours and not a major or even minor problem of any kind to report. Wheel lug nuts seem to stay tight, no oil or fluid leaks, no rattles or shakes, and it just takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'.........runs as good as the day I bought it three plus years ago. I've had to replace a couple of broken or lost nuts/bolts and put in a new battery this winter, but all in all a trouble free tractor.
I'm looking forward to a long, satisfying, and enjoyable relationship with my little Kubota. My regrets....only two. First, I wish I would have bought the B7100 a long time ago. Second, I was too cheap and in too much of a hurry and didn't hunt hard enough to find one with a front loader. Oh well. Maybe someday the front loader fairy will show up at my house.
