I am sitting with a B414 that blow the no4 glowplug as soon as you want to start it.
I have trased the wiring and all looks normal.
I did not test the glowresistor bcz I do not know what that value must be.

I found tbe problem.
The front tip of the glowplug touch the combustioncamber and made a short.
I used a drillbite and drilled it out. Then a magnet to pick-up the shavings and reinstall the glowplugs

Great find.. & as it turns out, an easy fix..
Was it a casting flaw??

Not a casting flaw but a engineering mistake. When they test an recon the silinderhead they had to remove the combustionchambers to replace the copperwashers . With the rebuilding they rotate it just a little and the skimmed the top.
After I essemble the engine I did not want to remove the silinderhead again to loosen the combustionchambers to rotate it to the correct posision.....so I just drilled that little bit out.
