I am up to 10 hours on the B3300, the biggest problem I have noted is the throttle now moves back to idle after a few seconds if the tractor is moving. I have tried to figure out where the tension adjustment is. The dealer is a 120 mile round trip! Anyone else see this, have an idea how to adjust it?

Thanks,

Don

If you follow the throttle down close to the floorboard you should see a spring and a nut at the end of the throttle rod. Try to tighten the nut for more tension. I'm not sure about your machine but this is how it works on my L3400. I got tired of always having to slap mine so I took some tension off mine. It still holds the position but is much easier to operate now. Hope this helps.

Thanks JAE, I'll have a second look but I think mine is different.

Yep, you were right, sounds like they were similar, 12 mm open end just squeezed in with enough room to tighten it a bit.

Thanks again.

Of course it comes loose every 4 hours or so! The Jam nut was missing, and when I tried to put a new one on I dropped it, so I figured out how to raise the console skirt(remove screw on top, push everything straight up) and while looking for the nut I bought I found the original jam nut! :)
Hoping no more problems there.
