Has anyone else experienced a dry dipstick when initially pulling the trans./hydraulic dipstick out on a B3030? The service manager at the dealer said he's heard about this happening before but couldn't offer an explanation as to how the stick is dry when initially pulled out. When the stick is re-inserted, I always get the true reading. Naturally I never go by the level on a dipstick when it's pulled out, I always wipe the stick and put it back in but it really threw me the first couple of times this happened. So far, no one has been able to explain how this can possibly happen.
