Bandit67Yes, wheels are off the ground when installing, but on the ground for minor chain adjustments. I just went out and tried it, and I was able to turn the wheels lock-to-lock. Tractor has been sitting for a couple of days, and the FEL bucket & the rear blade are resting on the concrete floor.
Maybe it's my altitude.Or the extra weight of all that glass in your cab.
Keep us posted on the spinner knob. Does that one mount via a bolt drilled through the wheel - it looked like a real clean install - didn't see a mounting strap. I kind of like that one. I really like the spinner knobs, until I jamb it into myself.![]()
I tried mine again tonight will not turn the wheels on the ground steering wheel turns hard tries to turn the wheels but skips and the steering wheel turns.
Mine must be worn out since yours is a 2008 mine a 2005.
As for the knob you really have to try one , I wouldn't even put one with a big ugly mounting bracket etc. this one is just a band see picture.
All stainless steel , we have to thank ACHINBAC for this one he's on top of these quality stainless steel items.
Here is where I got mine you can find it cheaper if you look around.
