Pretty excited about today's plans: weld up the new SSQA blank to an old old plow so I can clear the driveway :) It won't be pretty but it will move snow, that's all I care about. Eventually I'll try to get some sides made for it for a box type pusher but that will have to wait. I'll get some pictures posted when/if we finish up today.

A couple of quick boring vids cutting steel and welding. Apparently my phone does some slow motion thing from time to time or I have it set up wrong.

The plow has a slight bend in it on one end, however I don't think I'll lose much snow off the side to make a difference. I have the intentions of making some removeable sides for a box scraper, that should compensate for the bend for carrying snow.

Looks good. I don't see that bend making enough difference to notice.

It worked great. This universal plate is about 1/4" off, need to weld in a support plate in the top section to take up the slack. Something to hold the mounts in and down in place for a firm fit would be good. I'll get to that later when I get some time.

the jd 2032r is closer in actual size; the 2025r is smaller, much less capacities. i main reason i passed on the 2025 was the poor hydro pressure. about 50%( 5gpm)of the 2032r(10gpm), and the b2650(9gpm)on 2 pumps though; this means the b2650 fel can lift and roll symo, where as the 2025r can't. i called jd direct and confirmed this.

This tractor has been awesome, I have no complaints at the moment other than the loader control lever being close to the leg way to the control pedal. Bundled up in the winter with heavy pants and boots, the control lever in full rollback while trying to reverse will hit the boot - not allowing a full speed rollback. Minor detail, it's not a race lol

I have just read your entire thread. I am debating between a new b2650 and a new massey 1734e. Quite different machines; the massey has the new dpf filters, more weight and power (34hp. and 2700lbs vs 26hp and 1800lb). The b2650 has a simple power plant excellent hydraulics for its class. They are comparably priced.
I have no current use for the mid pto. I will use it to plow hear in far downeast Maine. Any comments would be appreciated.
