So where did you buy it, at Industrial Equipment or Crosby's? /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Trescrows

I am just curious. I understand you intend to keep your BX?

If so, why was a smaller size so important??

If you do not intend to keep the BX, it makes sense./w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Hi Allen, well first nothing is ever forever or for sure so I may not always have both or even either. The other thing is that I have a thing for "just right" vs bigger than I need. Also, it is true the 2700 and 2900 are bigger but not a great deal larger and I like the manuverability and smaller foot print of the 2410. It is enough tractor for my needs and then some since the BX did just fine actually. I do like the authority with which it steps out with the boxblade in tow!!!!!! and the laoder is awesome. I also still do not want the weight of a larger machine mashing my lawn and mowing is still a funtion which the 2410 will contend with. I am not saying anything bad about the 2710 and 2910 but for me the next logical step above the 2410 is the L3010. There are reasons to get the 2700 and 2900, for example the added power for large brush hogs.
Allen, you ask a good question and the answer is because it was the one I liked best of those three, it has enough power to take on "real" tractor jobs and still retains enough manuverability to get into tight spots and with minimum footprint on my yard.
