First of all, I never told the dealer WHAT capacity I wanted, just that I wanted to know if I could increase it by changing the cylinders. I didn't mention the load I had already lifted. He said I'd blow the pump so I asked if I could change the pump too, and he said that is the only pump they make for that machine. He said you can get anything you want from a hydraulics place but kubota can't and won't do it.
Second, the logs I might have to move from time to time I would mill as I have a poor man's version of the wood mizer made by lumber smith. If the trees are any good, not rotted or diseased, I want the longest timbers or boards possible.
Finally, I just put a skid steer adapter on the tractor to attach a tree scoop for a couple dozen of my young trees needing to be moved. The attachment plus the weight of the adaptor probably exceeds that of the bucket. So I lose some lift capacity. Kubota lied to me about the adapter. All the following occurred on the phone. They told me they didn't make the adapter for the B2320, they changed and redesigned the B2320 and called it B2301 and IT has the skid steer quick connect but it wouldn't fit my tractor. I told them someone on tractorbynet told me the B26xx with the LA504 loader has the same dimensions as mine but they said no. I told them I think my information is good and I was looking at a picture of the SSQA. He still wanted to deny it but I convinced him to measure from pin center to pin center and told him I had necessary measurements like from center of tilt piston to center of other tilt piston so he goes out and measures from edge of tee on cylinder to edge of tee on other tee. Know I know he being kind of a d--k but I let it pass as I had written down enough measurements to extrapolate the measurement from the points he measured at and turns out the loader they told me wasn't available for my tractor in 2010 does in fact have the right dimensions for the ssqa to fit. Then I was looking in my kubota manuals for info on the hydraulics, any specs that might be helpful for the load increase like what cylinders are on the machine and I happen to catch a line in the front loader assembly book that says the following instructions are for the optional LA504 loader, the same friggin one they told me that didn't exist when I bought my tractor new in 2020 which was also when they could have sold me the ssqa and the LA504 instead of trying to screw me out of more money further down the road when I needed a skid steer attachment. I won't spend any big money with them anymore. I don't like even the slightest hint of greed in business owners and the people I dealt with are the family owners of the dealership. They do good work but they screwed me. I'm poor and can't afford to fill the pockets of people who own multi million dollar businesses.
