B21 UDT leaking into crankcase...?

Did a search and could not find a hit on this. Every time I run the tractor I loose hydro oil into the oil pan. My hydro dipstick is reading low and my engine oil dipstick is reading high. What seal should I check or is it even worth worrying about? This is my weekend toy and only use it a few hours per month so I can live with keeping an eye on it and draining/toping off as necessary. Tractor is new to me and had a hard life- but it was what I could afford. Thanks in advance!

I would say it's the seal where your hyd pump hooks to the engine. If you plan to keep it for a while I would get it fixed. The UDT fluid isn't correct in the engine and will cost you big money in the long run.

Sounds like the seal on the hydraulic pump that is mounted on the right side of the engine. It is driven all off of the same cam shaft that runs the fuel injection pump. It is all open into the crankcase.

Thanks guys. That sounds like it might not be too hard. Anyone replaced this seal before? How difficult a job is it?

Doesnt appear to be too difficult from looking at my machine and the manual. Just be clean and careful on the assembly and you might want to do all the seals and bearings/bushings while you are in there since if the bushings wear down this will cause the seal to leak.
