What is the front axel load rating for a 1720?

I've seen posted here that the 7308 loader settings are 870# for the TC30, 920# for the 1720,and 1020# for the 1920. However, I've not seen the load rating for the front axel.

I'm researching a FEL for my tractor. The Bush Hog is rated at 1150# at max height at the pivot pins. This is 230# more than the rating for the 7308. I don't want to damage my front end.

Any input would be much appreciated.

My ex-NH1920 manual had a loading specs chart.. showed what max loads were for front and rear... So check your manual.

Soundguy,

Thanks for the input...

I have an operator's manual but can't find any axel load specifications...

Perhaps I'm just overlooking it...

Would an IT manual suffice???

I can get one at my local tractor supply...

No.. the I&T is a service manual.

In the owners manual.. check the back pages.. there should be specs / capacities , etc listed.

I don't have my 1920 manual anymore... it went with the tractor. My 7610s manual is laid out exactly the asmy 1920 manual was.. I could give you those axle rating specs (wink).. but I think they'd be a bit much for your 1720.

You think that 7610 is a bit heavier than that 1720???LOL

My dad's got an AC 8050...

I don't have a clue on how much it is but I'm sure it's astronomical...

Make sure that the 7308 loader spec you are comparing to is at the pins as well - If I remember right NH usually rates them at mid bucket. You'll have a higher rating at the pin that mid bucket due to the cantilever moment.
