So used a sxs, 4 wheeler and a old kubota to instal main feeder 3/4" irrigation lines for so called precision drip irrigation for my "test plot" of 200 hundred Xmas trees yesterday and today. Planting trees utilizing ATVs to pull trailers and the final 1/4" lines plus trees later this week to field.

Beech makes great firewood. BTU content is higher than Red Oak, significantly higher than Red Maple, almost as high as Sugar Maple.

It also has a relatively low moisture content when green (almost as good as Ash). And it dries relatively quickly.
Thank you. Fortunately, at this point, all of the good beech on my property are very healthy, and I love the look of a forest with beech in it. If any of them die, they're going straight on the wood stack.

The more I see these smaller Honda UTVs, the more interested I get. I think thats what I will buy when a UTV becomes a something I need to buy.

The newer ones have a dump box in back instead of rack and 20 more cc plus switchable paddle shift or full auto. I'm problaby getting a new one with dump box before dec 31, keeping the old one and taking it to our place up north to rec ride mostly cuz it's been super reliable, know it's complete service history, and I really enjoy driving it down here not to mention the functional accessories I put on it. To bad the small pioneers 500 and 520 cc didn't come with oem power assist steering though. Which would be very helpful for slow speed close quarter maneuvering.

There are aftermarket power steering units that can be installed. However, I have not found the need for it our Honda Pioneer 520 (and my wife is not complaining, which is the real test).

We bought a 700 with the power steering. Huge difference and just a little wider & heavier. We needed the second row seating, which converts to a decent tilt bed when it's just me using it

I needed 50" max width for what I use it for.

Our outlander over the weekend helping at camp. Note the position of the hitch pin.

Is there supposed to be a receiver hitch?

Not enough detail to zoom in on the first picture and see exactly what is going on. Did part of the hitch snap off?
Its a master lock type and you need to pull the blue locking end so as to actuate the lock. No idea how it got unlocked.

Moving mountains with the tag team, Kubota RTV900 an$ mini ex. That’s a full load for thE RTV, much more and the front end gets very light. Love the hydraulic dump feature.

We had a 1961 Morris Minor 1000. Solid car.

Interesting, as the front wheels on my Toro Workman take up the weight of the loaded bed. The RTV900 must have a cantilevered bed? The Toro rear wheels are at the utmost rear of the bed, so any weight put in the bed is absorbed by all four wheels.

Hi David, it’s more of an issue of the hilly area I live in. I’m moving dirt about a 1/4 mile through the woods, steep hills and I’m possibly hauling 1200 lbs or more, (just a guess) I also added bedsides, with fuller loads I have to help the hydraulic dump bed as it can’t lift the weight. Flat land isn’t a problem.

Can you move a 16ft trailer with your atv?

I move a 13ft on a regular basis... I doubt the extra three feet would stall it out. Empty, it weighs about 300lbs less than the UTV.

I think the fully loaded camper in post #155 is a 22 ft. My Toro Workman is rated for towing 3500 pounds, so unless it was loaded to the max, a 16 ft wouldn't be an issue.
