I talked with Buck the Product Support Manager for ASV who contacted me through this forum. I told him the whole story of the motor and other issues I had in the past. The best thing about Buck he didn't deny the ASV had problems but explained how each of the issues I had were improved on the PT. He mentioned a new machine coming out that he couldn't talk about until April. I really got the feeling ASV is trying hard to improve their machine and is moving in the right direction.

Then he asked if I had fixed the ASV and I replied "yes", he then said I should fax him the invoice and he would warranry the whole cost! I was speechless....this was over $10,000...

When a company stands behind a machine like that, it's saying something. I can't wait to see what the new machine is all about.

The newer asv are completely different than the older rcs i love the new forestry machines we dont have half the dust problems in the cab we used to

Not knowing what was ASV, I began a search on google.

ASV Armed Security Vehicle ..... maybe,
ASV American Society of Virology......not likely
ASV Posi-track Compact Track loader. This must be it.

Now, I need to search for rcs. Ah, it is a new forestry machine and must be used for land clearing. ROFLO

I sat in one of the new Terex PT100 Forestry machines last weekend. Made me want to touch myself. It is leaps and bounds over my RC

This is how good the are i have been having a problem with one of my fans and had to replace the blades on the reversing fan which cost 1000 dollars and asv stepped up and covered the problem with the warranty being out on that tractor i think asv has come a long way and i think there relationship with terex is only going to stregthen the best out of the box mulching track loader

Very cool.

Only two problems i have had so far is the dang AC. The wiring that didn't have a sheath on it rotted and shorted out. Had to fix it with some electrical tape. That and the dang AC brackets all cracked and broke and the ONLY way to get them out is to pull the headliner down It must have been bolted in then spray glue shot on the ceiling then the headliner stuck in

I used my friends RC100 to clear some trees from my yard before I got my driveway paved. It worked great!!!!

I'd like to buy one to keep in the garage

I will ask him. I went by his shop yesterday (He owns Reliable Rentals in Dinwiddie, VA) and he mentioned he had to fix one of the handles on his ASV's. He has a few so I'm not sure which one he was talking about. I'll send you a PM when I talk to him.
