Thanks for the info, Dr. George! I will probably only stay on it until my inflammation levels become more tolerable. I was more willing to go this route than the steroid route. Prednisone gives me that "redman's syndrome" and makes me feel like I'm on fire from the inside out. I also had a really bad reaction to an asthma medication (think it was Advair) that caused huge hives all over my body including in my throat, so I am reluctant to use steroids now.

Ok, I must say, Mobic is great! It took it a couple days to start kicking in, but I'm 100% better now and no prednisone side effects. I think I'll even be back to my stone veneer project on Wednesday, which I have off from work. For once, it's not supposed to rain and it's even supposed to be 55 degrees.
