OK wife says I have to redo the arena again this year. Yekk third time. So first I say im'n tired of moving panels by hand. So dig in the old scrap pile and drag out the flux core and proceed to make a panel mover for the BX.
It ain't pretty but it sure made moving the panels easier. Couple pics moving 20ft panels. And then a couple of pics of the almost done make over

Looks very useful. As we are putting in an arena this year I have been thinking about how to move the panels. I will probably fab something similar.

I cannot tell from the pictures; how did you mount the fork to the bucket? I can see some angle iron but do not see how it attaches unless it hangs over the bucket lip. I was thinking about hanging something from my bucket hooks but do not think it would be as stable as I want.

it just hangs over the bucket lip. It is not clear in the photo. it is a piece of U channle. It is very easy on off as I wanted. iIwill take a close up tommorrow. I cut around the hooks but it woud be easy to hang it on the hooks. like I said I just used what was in my junk pile.

you can see it "clips" over the lip of the bucket

Good idea for keeping the bucket weight low Jim! (wished I'd thought of that a time or two in the past

Bota 7800 Here is a pic of the C channel . notice it has a lip that hooks under/around the bucket lip. I just happened to have some pieces of this. I then notched it to fit around the hooks and other things in the way. I welded a piece of angle iorn to the two pieces of C channel to hold them in place and to give me something to weld the tubing to. The tubing is also just something I had. I think it was some sort of storage rack originaly. I found it laying beside a dumster one day and just knew I would have a use for it sometime. Originaly I did not have the two upright horns but the panels tended to slide up and over he bucket so I added the uprights. It works really well. Thos are 20 ft galvanized panels they must weigh close to 300lb each.
