I came across mechmaxx a few months ago too, but have been leery of spending that much on an unknown company. looks like you solved that first part of the equation. the shipping looks better than i would have expected. I also looked at woodland mills, and now titan attachments (palletforks.com) is selling them at a cost more than mechmaxx, but less than woodland mills, plus at the top end of the price scale you have the baumalight. all look nearly identical - save for whatever has been modified to make each of them "different".
everyone always compares the cost of the purchase vs. renting for a day at a time, but around here when one of these hits marketplace for 1800-2500, the listing disappears in 48 hours. you can likely buy one, use it a few times for a few years and get back most of the cost, so buying isn't bad in the long run either.how a
