Anyone have a MechMaxx 3-pt stump grinder?

Is anyone using the SG24 with a Speeco quick hitch? The Mechmaxx website doesn't mention if it's quick hitch compatible.

I bought the MechMaxx SG24 and after a month or more, finally used it. Shipping was not an issue, came faster than quoted. Crate is metal and well protected. Checked all torque of bolts and used. Works like a dream. Did about a dozen stumps, ranging from 6" to 36", no issues. Well, one issue, and it was operator error. Left my drawbar on and when I was grinding below ground level, it cut open the plastic sheathing and got into the driveshaft. the driveshaft fared better than the 1 1/2" drawbar. I would recommend this based on my short term use so far. Not sure how many years it will take for me to verify it's a great product, but I'm sure I will get more than my moneys worth. I only wish the chainsaw holder was tall enough to use a bar protector. Maybe I'm overthinking the need for the protector, but I always use it.

FYI, for anyone that's on the fence about getting one of these. Mechmaxx has their early black Friday sale going on and the stump grinder is listed for $1299.

I just placed an order for some other stuff that was on sale and was able to use a 5% off code from one of their YouTube 'reviewers'.

I did the exact same thing to my drawbar, but only damaged the plastic pto guard. Easy mistake to make.

I've been comparing various stump grinders. This thread has been helpful.

Still not sure if the hydraulic types are worth the increased cost.

Same with the bigger flywheel. They can go deeper, but going 6 under should be enough.

The WM has a Pro version that adds a few features like a chain deflector and shock absorption. Not sure if that is worth the extra, either.

The MSRP on the MM and WM are pretty close, but MM seems to have lower sale prices.

I'd love it if one or two 'influencers' would buy a couple of each brand and legitimately put them through their paces.

If you are doing it professionally then the hydraulic types are worth the money.

Use around the house and farm - the $1299 is awesome and works really well.
