I have a John Deere 2640 but the fuel filter is filled with antifreeze could someone let me know how this happened

I’m going to agree that it’s a mixture of water and fuel unless you dumped antifreeze in the fuel tank.

If it's actually antifreeze someone inadvertently, mistakenly put antifreeze in fuel tank. I witnessed that several time when I was employed by JD dealer many yrs ago. Unfortunately JD engineers didn't provide for a fuel tank drain cock. So one needs to siphon antifreeze from tank or remove fuel shut off valve to drain the antifreeze.

I also saw the opposite where inexperienced people would take radiator cap off to fill with diesel.
I understand why deere put the fuel tank in front of the radiator for weight but it certainly required people paying attention so didn’t fill with wrong fluid.
