did not get the fuel system bled enough,

Cummins on our D250 truck complains if we run out of fuel or have some other delivery issue. We find that bleeding the air by loosening one or two injectors always fixes the problem. To avoid? (1) keep the fuel up, and (2) replace filters regularly.

BX tractors are bled by turning the key on without starting. Repeat this a few times. When I had one and changed filter you could hear the air in the return lines to the tank which would stop eventually.

I have a 2012 BX2360 that would run great for quite awhile than stall for no apparent reason the problem recurred for a few years. Changing the fuel filters didn't seem to make a difference. Someone said possible debris in the fuel tank. Tank seemed clean so I removed the under body fuel filter and blew air through the line and noticed crude coming out of the fuel cap vents on the bottom of the cap. That solved my problem.
