I was thinking the same thing. Our motorhome diesel uses what is called SCA Pre Charge. My Kioti manual just says anti freeze...no mention of the SCA type.
Depending on design specifics, diesels can be very susceptible to cavitation corrosion, or, not so much. While relatively rare, I've seen references to cavitation corrosion occurring in gas engines too.

Any reputable engine manufacturer should be issuing correct specs; see what they currently recommend (updates are often back-spec'd to older equipment - worth checking).
I like the performance of the modern diesel coolants (time/distance/nothing to add), and don't mind paying the slight premium (if any) to get that performance. My local International dealer sells the Delo coolant very inexpensively - that's not something I get to say often in Canada.....
