Anti Chatter oil

I was going through a manual complements of Joe,

Noticed talk about anti chatter Hydraulic oil.

When I bought the tractor I replaced all the fluids after I used the tractor for a few days.
I used Motorcrafts TDH oil for the Hydraulic system.
I didn't notice at the time about the chatter before I changed the oil.
But with the stuff I refilled with I definitely have chatter until I put any call for Hydraulic flow.

Being in North East British Columbia Canada I want a good oil for the cold days of plowing snow and feeding the critters without having to wait 15 - 25 minutes for the Hydraulic system to warm up.
The current oil has about 200hrs on it, which I was wanting to use as a flush anyway.

I am planning to drain the system, cleaning the screen, replace the oil filter and fill with one of the JD Hy gard oils.

Which one of the hy gard oils would you use or want to stay away from?
Any bad experiences i should know about?

What model of tractor do you have? Deere recommends lo-vis hygard in there compact utility tractors with hydrostatic transmissions. Larger farm tractors with power shift or IVT I believe regular hygard is recommended but might want to confirm that based on your ambient temps.

Biggest concern is fluid that is rayed for use with wet clutches and braked since most newer tractors have these features.

The manual for my 5075E shows that JD Hy-Gard can be used between -20C and 50C
(-4F and 122F), low viscosity Hy-Gard can be used between -40C and 30C (-40F and 86F). If your summer temps don't get over 30C (86F), you'll be good with the low viscosity fluid year round.

Assuming you cleaned the suction screen while the oil was drained?

Maybe you could define "chatter" a little more. This is present UNTIL you call for hydraulic flow? The more details you provide the more help you're likely to get.

Both low-vis and regular hygard are compatible with each other. Most of them will actually show that in “normal” weather either one meets spec. Check your manual of course.

I believe the “chatter” that you are referring to is in regards to the wet brakes and wet clutch (if independent PTO). Modern oils are equipped with friction modifiers that prevent the brakes from binding or “skipping under application- the “chatter.”

The way I have always done it is, Deeres series 1-4 get low vis, 5 and above get regular hy gard.

Assuming you are in the Great White North, Low Vis is probably my recommendation.
